Who Wore it Best? May 2013 Poll

June is always a great time for royal hats with Ascot, the Trooping of the Colour and an inevitable summer royal wedding (this year it will be Princess Madeleine of Sweden). When I think about the perfect hat for a major summer royal event, I envision something made of light straw with a large, interesting brim. Lattice brimmed hats are a perfect fit to this criteria and two similar ones immediately come to mind- two very similar designs by Philip Treacy and one by Lock & Co. Over the past 8 years, five royal women have worn these three hats. As we approach June, the month of summer royal hats, I ask you, dear readers, who wore it best?

As usual, voting will remain open until midnight GMT on May 29 and as per usual, I’ll unveil the winner on the 30th. You’re welcome to vote as many times for as many of these lovely hats as you wish. Happy voting!

  1. I don’t know how you find all these hats that are so much alike but they sure are interesting! I like the white wones better than Kate’s black one. That seems a little too heavy with her white coat dress.
