Who Wore it Best: November 2013 Poll

The Royal Hats Blog

Sometimes, we see a royal lend their hat to a royal family member (two examples that immediately come to mind are here and here). This always warms my heart. I can only think of one royal family, however, where three members have worn the same hat. Between 2007 and 2011, three members of the British Royal family appeared in this Philip Treacy designed percher hat trimmed with an oversize, knotted bow. While we will never know if these three hats are indeed the same one being passed along a palace corridor (somehow, I suspect the Yorks share one while Sophie Wessex has her own), I still cannot resist asking, Who Wore It Best?

As usual, the poll will remain open until midnight GMT November 16 on and we will celebrate the winner the next morning. You are again welcome to vote as many times as you wish.

  1. I like this one on Eugenie. The off-center angle works for me. I think it’s tilted just a bit too forward on Bea, and a lot too forward on Sophie.

  2. I generally feel that hats look better with hair up, but of these three, all with their hair down, I surprise myself by preferring Beatrice with the longest hair, rather than the other two. For once I think the longer hair looks better.
