Royal HatsAfter looking at all the royal hats we saw in 2014, we narrowed down our least favourites to twelve and then you, dear readers, got to work casting your votes.  In an unprecedented result here on Royal Hats, we have not just one but TWO ties within the category of least favourite royal hat of 2014. 1. I salute you HatQueen for researching and compiling photos and information about these hats. I wonder if the royals and their millliners read this blog and take the comments on board.

  2. I wouldn’t quarrel with any of these, but I really would like to see Queen Maxima’s antennae given another chance. My instinct is that it might just work if worn with a really formal outfit with a very classic up-do. Whereas nothing will make those bandage hats work!

  3. The people have spoken! lol Thanks for the hard work HatQueen. I personally voted for Countess of Wessex’s burgundy stovepipe hat as my Least Favourite Royal Hat.
