Several of you devoted readers have emailed me about Prince Harry’s success on the “Walking with the Wounded” expedition to the South Pole. He was indeed successful and yes- he arrived at the pole wearing a black ski hat.

The hat is sensible; the beard is magnificent! I hope he grows it out to Prince Michael length; I’d love to see just how strong the ancestral family resemblance is in him when he’s even more fully bearded!

Good for him. I’m glad he was successful in his endeavor and that he had a hat to keep warm. It is not for me though…I do not like to be cold!
