Princess Beatrix of the Netherlands attended the 135th anniversary celebration of “The Friesian Horse Studbook” in Leeuwarden yesterday- a royal society dedicated to preserving the history of the Friesian Horse. For this celebration, Beatrix wore one of her signature Suzanne Moulijn designed brimless hats in shimmering gold straw.

I love how the sparkle in the gold hat brightens her face and compliments her bronze jacket. What a smart winter outfit.
I’m just a bit tired of so many hats appearing just alike except for fabric choice. I would love to see a different hairstyle and hat on her, but alas, I enjoy seeing her just the same . She seems like a trule lovely person.
She looks quite lovely ..I just love ,hats
In the America we tend not 2 wear , them as often, it’s a shame , they often , (make / finish ) an outfit
No one else could wear this hat and have it work! Princess Beatrix looks wonderful and I always look forward to seeing which hat she has chosen to wear.
I for one love Beatrix’s hats. I think they suit her and I accept them as her signature style. I hope we continue to see her for a long time in her lovely millinery style.
