Queen Margrethe Opens Cruise Terminal

Queen Margrethe of Denmark officially opened the new cruise ship terminal in Copenhagen on Friday afternoon. For this nautical engagement, Margrethe repeated her red wool hat and coordinating suit. We saw the best picture of this ensemble at this event but I’m afraid it has not changed my opinion. I would love to see this suit topped with a chic black hat instead of this one, which is just trying too hard to coordinate. What do you think?

  1. Queen Margrethe looks so darn good in red doesn’t she. I don’t mind this workmanlike and casual look for a change. She still looks very regal in a friendly, relaxed way to me.

  2. It’s a shame this didn’t coincide with Hyacinth and Richard Bucket being stuck at the Danish Cruise Terminal waiting for the QE2. What would win out — Hyacinth having a brush with royalty or remaining terrified of the Danes?
