Princess Mako at Japanese War Memorial

Princess Mako of Akishinono attended a war memorial service this morning at Chidorigafuchi National Cemetery in Tokyo. She looked very smart in a quirky little black hat with squared crown and tightly upturned brim

  1. I dint like the hat at all, sorry it just falls flat. The suit I do like but I just don’t get the Japanese obsession with white gloves. White gloves are fine with light clothing or with white shoes and handbag but I think here (and in most other cases) a pair of black or grey gloves would be better.
