Back in the day, I had a hat shaped like that (no fur, but little flowers), but it was worn further back on the head. It didn’t look quite that odd.
So very 1950s style. She was expecting Princess Caroline when these photos were taken.
That is a very ugly hat.
Some more views of this hat- with a different hairstyle. I can’t say that the hat improves when seen from other angles. But Grace as always makes the odd seem sweet. And I can imagine Mathilde giving a style like this a go.
The colour pics suggest that the base of the hat and Grace’s neck scarf are pale pink. The fur trim, and her gloves, seem to be white
I too am not a fan of this strange little hat but Grace sure can pull it off. Hats off to her!!!
That is certainly an odd hat, but she looks as glamorous as ever.
Anyone who can look so elegant with a croissant on her head gets my vote!
