As we catch up determining our favourite royal hats worn this year, we’re going to jump back again to September to choose our favourite new design. There were six millinery designs that stood out to you in particular, based on your comments, and it is these six designs that we place side by side in comparison now.
Click on each picture below to jump back to original posts with additional photos and information on each hat. Here are your six finalists for September, in the order they were worn:
Queen Silvia’s purple flower covered calot worn for her grandson’s christening on September 9
The pearl headpiece worn by Princess Sofia on Sep 9 for Prince Alexander’s christening
Princess Hanako’s pale pink hat with square crown and lace brim worn September 8
Princess Sofia’s white camellia headpiece worn for the Opening of Parliament Sep 13
Princess Laurentien’s gun metal grey percher hat with crin trim by Eudia worn Sep 20 for Prinsjesdag
Duchess of Cambridge’s blue felt percher Lock & Co. design with maple leaf trim worn in Canada on Sep 24
Voting will remain open until Sunday, November 27 at midnight GMT and each computer or mobile device can vote once every 12 hours for as many hats as you wish. For added suspense, results will not be visible until the poll closes. Happy voting!
