Prince Albert and Princess Charlene of Monaco were received by Pope Benedict XVI at the Vatican. Charlene was recently granted the Privilège du Blanc, the entitlement of Catholic Queens to wear white (as opposed to black that all the others wear) whenever they visit the Vatican. It’s a high honor for this princess and I thought her delicate antique lace mantilla (and Dior lace sweater dress) looked beautiful.
