Princess Anne and her daughter, Zara Phillips attended Ladies Day at the Cheltenham Festival today. Princess Anne wore a dark brown fur hat we’ve seen many times before (most recently, on Christmas Day).

Zara wore another new hat- this one a swirled, peaked black wool pillbox with peacock feather trim designed by Amy Money Millinery. I was not a fan of this hat paired with her scarlet coat (major clash in my books) but the hat, on it’s own, is unique and looked great on her. I loved that spiraled peacock feather! What do you think?

Hello, just come across your post. I just wanted to clarify that this is not one of my designs (the one Zara is wearing), I have a design which this one is similar to, so I can see your connection, but I am afraid I cannot help with who did design it!
Thanks for the clarification, Maggie! We would love to see Zara in one of your designs!
You’re welcome, and yes, I agree!
Maggie
With a bright blue coat, I would have liked Zara’s hat a lot more.
Me too! Bright blue, emerald green- anything in the blue/green family would have worked better, in my opinion.
Yes. The red coat and the hat do not go together at all.
It’s not like the colors clash. Love how she mixes the pops of color together and LOVE LOVE LOVE this hat.
Dear Hatqueen – it is the sunglasses. The hats do not work with the sunglasses. Zara’s hat looks too small because the glasses are too big!
