The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge attended the wedding of friends William van Cutsem and Rosie Ruck Keene in Oxfordshire this weekend – for this occasion, she debuted a new hat made by Viviene Sherif. A photo released by the milliner shows it to be a pyramid saucer hat covered in overlapping rows of feathers. The hat is trimmed with a spray of black feathers and curled quills around the back. The feather work is beautiful but there’s something about the pyramid shape in this particular scale that I don’t think works very well.

Newsflash- Kate officially is suffering from pregnancy brain. There is no other reason for her to willingly wear that hat.
I think it’s cute. I like how the black and white front part coordinates with her dress without having more dots. And the feathers are cute.
Yes, I agree. Not a good hat at all. Proportion, style, whatever, looks all wrong. Looks like a funny costume.
Ouch, not the best on her, indeed.
It looks like a folded serviette on her head. Kate’s hats are usually much nicer than this.
I like the idea of black and white but the ruffled part at the front does not look vvery nice.
