Princess Beatrix has been busy with a number of events this week. On Tuesday, May 28 she attended the European Inventor Awards in Amsterdam; she wore a very smart silver grey straw hat with flat crown, upturned brim and band around the crown. With her blue and grey patterned dress, I thought this was a beautiful ensemble.

Today, Princess Beatrix has inaugurated a new building of the museum of art in Zwolle. She repeated the jade green “pyramid” hat she wore in Utrecht last summer and in Aruba in October 2011.

Royal Hats 
The pyramid is a sharp disaster.
Princess Beatrix looked regal and radiant in this silver hat.
The silver hat is fit for a Queen. I do not like the pointed top of the green hat.
Beatrix looks beautiful! She likes wearing hats of this style, but they fit her and look great on her.
