While the eyes of the world were on a certain Royal wedding in Sweden yesterday, Princess Eugenie attended the nuptials of her friends (and fellow British aristrocrats) Lady Natasha Rufus-Isaacs and Rupert Finch. Eugnie repeated a sequined black beret trimmed with a red fan bow and spray of spiky feathers. I would not consider this the most attractive hat I have ever seen but it was a good match for her dress patterned with large red roses. Like Queen Máxima last week, I think this hat would have been better without the large, competing earrings.

One maintains that the sequin should never be the main material used to fashion a royal hat. 1/10
I don’t like the red bow on the hat. It would have been much better in just black.
Love the whole look, but you may be right about the earrings…the dress is perfect for a wedding.
And, also like Queen Maxima, Eugenie’s hats would benefit from neater hair. Though I must say Max has improved much since becoming Queen.
This would be much better if her hair wasn’t so messy.
I prefer prince Charles and his yesterday fur hat 😉

Wonderful!
The earrings plus the smokey eye makeup kinda make her look a lot older and dated. Maybe a simpler eye make up(taupe or light brown) would work well with the sequined beret and the printed dress.
