Princess Anne and Vice Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence attended the 57th Hennessy Gold Cup horse racing meeting at Newbury Racecourse, Berkshire, south east England, on Saturday. For this outdoor event, Anne repeated her much worn mahogany brown fur hat. I’m not usually a fan of this kind of fur pillbox hat but this one seemed fitting for the event, and paired well with Anne’s dark orange wool coat. What do you think?

She looks very nice for occasion and the weather, I like the hat even if it’s fur of which I am not a fan of. it’s just nice on her!
I think this hat is a little blah. It’s like a fur cushion plopped on her head. Maybe it’s time for a new style!
Didn’t she recently do some advocacy for better care for horses in Britain? I’m a little surprised that she’s wearing fur.
I am not a big fan of fur hats, but it does look good on the Princess Royal.
one of the better, Anne hats. Looks good on her.
