Queen Margrethe of Denmark attended a memorial service for the late Nelson Mandela held at the Vor Frue Kirke in Copenhagen yesterday. For this service, Margrethe wore what I believe is a new hat – a black Karakul fur toque with feather pouf that coordinated with her coat. It is a new hat shape for Margrethe and while I’m still not entirely a fan of the toque, I think it’s a surprisingly good hat shape on her. What do you think?

THIS is Daisy’s hat shape! She should throw out all her old ones and only have these made.
I like this very much. It’s a good shape with interesting features, and worn at a good angle. And it avoids any look of baldness which is always a consideration with Margrethe.
It’s perfect for the occasion, the coat, and the wearer. It’s just out there enough for Margrethe with the little poof ball but perfectly appropriate head gear in every other way. I like the texture too.
It looks very good on her. The late Queen Mary would have approved!
I really like the jaunty angle of this hat placement, one of the best I have seen on Daisy. Thumbs up!
I like this one on her and it looks strikingly like some of Queen Mary’s toques!
I really like this hat one her, it’s not overpowering nor to small. I also love the coat she is wearing, both very chic!
