Phillips Family At Cheltenham

Princess Anne and her family also attended the fourth and final day of the Cheltenham Festival today. The Princess Royal wore a dark faux fur Yvette Jelfs hat she has worn before.

Autumn wore a new and very striking button percher trimmed with tall spiraling pheasant feathers. I’m not sure I would have paired this hat with a bright pink coat, but I think it works. Maybe. Possibly. What do you think?

Update: Autumn’s hat is the ‘Fitzrovia’ designed by Olivia Roat.

Zara Tindall also attended to cheer on Monbeg Dude, the horse her husband bought at an auction a few years ago. If you haven’t read the story of this horse purchase, it’s a fun one! Her black felt hat with feathers is by Jane Taylor.

Duke and Duchess of Cambridge at Cheltenham

Prince William and The Duchess of Cambridge, made a surprise visit to Day 4 of the Cheltenham Festival today. Kate wore the same Lock & Co chocolate pillbox with side bow she wore a few weeks ago to the wedding of friends in Switzerland. I’ll say it again- I’m not a fan of hats that blend with hair but I like the shape of this one on her. Paired with her new pink coat and matching chocolate accessories, I thought it was a good choice for a chilly day at the races. What do you think about this hat?

Zara Phillips Attends Day 3 of the Cheltenham Festival

Zara Phillips attended her third consecutive day at the Cheltenham Festival today, accompanied by her husband Mike Tindall. She wore a khaki green wool folded cocktail hat designed by Karen Henriksen. I’m on the fence about this hat- what do you think?

Princess Anne and Zara Phillips at Cheltenham

Princess Anne and her daughter, Zara Phillips attended Ladies Day at the Cheltenham Festival today. Princess Anne wore a dark brown fur hat we’ve seen many times before (most recently, on Christmas Day).

Zara wore another new hat- this one a swirled, peaked black wool pillbox with peacock feather trim designed by Amy Money Millinery. I was not a fan of this hat paired with her scarlet coat (major clash in my books) but the hat, on it’s own, is unique and looked great on her. I loved that spiraled peacock feather!  What do you think?
