Queen Máxima of The Netherlands opened a symposium on the prevention of obesity for children and adults at the Boijmans van Beuninen museum in Rotterdam today. She wore a mushroom beige-grey wool hat with sharply upturned diagonal brim that we haven’t seen on her in a long time. It was one of her first hats in this shape; it is a great shape for her but I found the monochrome outfit a little dull. What do you think?

I can’t believe I’m going to say this but I LOVE this. It’s not monochrome but slight variations of greige in different textures on the dress, wrap and hat. It is warm, soft and so beautiful on Max. And the hat? Perfection.
I would never have guessed this hat was 9 years old. It looks so modern and fresh. I love the lavender band. So chic with the brown.
Zzzzzz…oops! I think she needs to find a new style hat as this style is becoming predictable and boring on her.
Nice hat, ho hum outfit. Wrap looks soft and luxurious.
a beautiful hat and the monochrome grays are lovely on her, but what color shoes is she wearing??
I like it. Perhaps because she is dressed in mono-chromatic grays is why I noticed her lovely accessories. The hat looks great on her pretty face.
Yes, elegant, but not exciting.
So wonderful of her
