Very much enjoyed the post on hats suitable for Valentine’s. But it didn’t include the one I immediately think of – the then-Kate Middleton’s black hat with the heart-shaped embellishment, worn with the red coat for Prince William’s Sandhurst parade. Looking at pictures just now, I see it looks more like two conjoined loops in close-up, but the newspapers made so much of it at the time!
