My part of the world is unusually and quite literally shut down as the end of a three day snowstorm blows through. It seems fitting (for me at least!) to look thus, at this trio of winter hats worn by Zara Philips with her classic winter white wool coat. There is: a brown newsboy cap; black embellished cloche; and a brown shearling stovepipe hat. Which one is your favourite hat paired with this lovely coat?

For those eagle eyed readers who might suspect a fourth hat was worn with this coat, it seems that Zara has a new winter white coat these days that is slightly different from the one we see paired with this trio of hats above.

the cloche for “girly” day, newsboy for “tomboy” day(or very windy:)
but stovepipe – so ugly!! and allowed only after 64 (see elderly relatives , for eg. The Duchess of Cornwall)
The embellished cloche looks the best with the coat ; but would love the “newsboy” with a more casual looking coat.o
1. The cloche. 2. The newsboy. 3. The stovepipe.
I prefer the cloche. Its shape is pretty, and the white embellishment, a big leaf, goes nicely with the coat. Actually I don’t understand the choice of the first or the third hat: solid brown, neither seems attractive with a black turtleneck and a white coat
I think that I prefer the black cloche hat, although she looks very cute in the brown newsboy cap.
The brown shearling stovepipe seems like one Princess Anne has worn before, isn’t it?
That fabulous cloche all the way for me. It’s a very elegant look for Zara.
Not that fond of any of them, but I think I probably prefer the cap.
The newsboy! I don’t care for hats that one has to peer out from under it.
