Queen Margrethe and Prince Henrik of Denmark kicked off their 2014 summer cruise schedule last week and boarded the Danish Royal Yacht, Dannebrog. Queen Margrethe repeated one of my favourite hats from her wardrobe, this charcoal grey trilby with modified pork pie style crown and feather pouff on the side. It’s a great hat on her, isn’t it?

Royal Hats 
I rather like the hat, but do not care too much for the raincoat. (Is it a raincoat?) Anyway it looks like someone spilled their Pepto-Bismol on it.
Oh, I love this hat, it’s one of my favourites! I don’t know quite what is up with her coat or whatever it is either, but I’m sure it’s a weather thing – doesn’t look too summery in the photo. I like the pinstriped suit she normally wears with this hat.
Yep, this is a winner for me for sure, especially having also viewed it from the previous posts (May 1,2013 in particular). Great, bold colour for starters. I’m even liking the pouff with its various shades of grey as a contrast. Good job!!
I like the hat but am puzzled by the coat/cape/traffic personnel security vest. Nonetheless, the attractive hat goes well with it.
