We all know Rachel Trevor Morgan as a milliner who creates beautiful hats for The Queen, Princess Alexandra and numerous other members of the British Royal family. She recently collaborated with Legoland Windsor to create a wardrobe of new hats for some very special royal clients:
The Queen and Duchess of Cornwall:

The Duchess of Cambridge and Carole Middleton (I am not sure why Carole was included… I think I will pretend she is The Princess Royal because this green hat would be marvelous on Princess Anne):

Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie:

And Zara Phillips Tindall (shown below right with the designer herself in matching hats):

I think this collaboration is absolutely brilliant! Rachel Trevor Morgan not only created hats that reflect the style of the real person depicted in Lego, she also created miniature millinery works of art. It’s so fun and beautifully kicks off what will be a busy ten days of Trooping the Colour, Order of the Garter and Ascot hats beginning tomorrow. Hats off to Rachel Trevor Morgan for these brilliant designs!

Such fun. I’m struck by how the designer has really captured each person. Big flowery hat for Camilla, quirky and flamboyant for Beatrice, Eugenie and Zara, and of course classic for Her Majesty. Bit disappointed that Sophie’s not included, that would have been fun. Would love to be there to see it. Thanks.
I’m disappointed as well. For the life of me I can’t figure out why Carole Middleton would be included and not Sophie or Ann. The best Lego hat for me is Camilla and Beatrice’s.
Awesomeness at EPIC levels! RTM rules.
Oh this is amazing!!! Just today stood with a playmobil box with a shopping lady in my hand, but my daughter is 22…. Now I know why I need it: I’m gonna make a hat!
Looking forward to a lot of hat fun the coming days, my thanks in advance, hat queen.
This just leaves me smiling from ear to ear! I’m so glad Rachel Trevor Morgan has a sense of play and agreed to do these teeny tiny hats. As the mom of Lego mad kids, my second thoughts were how long did it take to build the Lego Buckingham Palace and will they sell a kit? 😀
