My deepest thanks again to British Milliner Katie Vale and American milliner Jill Courtemanche for joining us all week to share their thoughts on this year’s millinery. I officially sign off Ascot coverage with a hat designed by Stephen Jones. While it was worn on a non-royal head at Ascot this week, it captures the millinery spirit of this event so well I just had to share.

Marvellous fun. Thanks so much to you and your commentating colleagues. Time for a sit down and a nice cup of tea.
Thanks for all you hard work coordinating per multiple time zones and providing us with fun and larks! You must e done in! The Queen on te other hand – oh no she’s at it again, in Northern Iteland now. I bet she’s dying to put her feet up at Balmoral!
Thanks, JamesB. I’m so glad you enjoyed the coverage! I will catch up on the rest of the royal hats we’ve missed in the meantime today and tomorrow.
Thank you to you and your guests for the coverage. Very enjoyable.
Many thanks to you and your guest for all your coverage. It is great being able to see all the royal hats gathered together, and it must be a lot of hard work – much appreciated.
That should have been “guests”, of course.
Love the hat on a hat on a hat on a hat….even the colours are great…thanks
