Princess Benedikte of Denmark attended a launch of the Danish Alzheimer’s Association’s new project, “Remembrance Dance” yesterday in Roskilde. The princess, who is patron of the organization, wore her stacked red wool beret hat for this event. I have long adored this hat on Benedikte- the shape is unique and the colour is fantastic one her. I think this was another instance where the mix of dress, jewelry, hat and other accessories combines to create such a chic ensemble. Didn’t she look great?!

Perfect look! Gray and red are a good combination as opposed to gray and yellow, which just looks sickly. She looks fantastic!
I like this hat better than on previous outings because it is not competing with patterned fabrics in the outfit and is thus able to be the star of the show. The plain grey is complementary to the red and the hat is quirky and fun.
Princess Benedikte is a lady I greatly admire and she does seem to have the ability to look effortlessly fabulous most of the time. This red hat is so stunning and suits her perfectly. I think red and grey makes a great combination.
Yes, I love this. Very simple, but unusual enough to look special and not pedestrian.
I love this hat and agree that Princess Benedikte looks very chic.
I have long admired her style and elegance. The hat is lovely, as is her entire outfit.
This is just elegance and style! I almost never have given this reward to any royal, but this one sure deserves; 10+
I like it
I’m not sure I would like this on someone else, but this hat looks great on Benedikte. I like it paired with the grey dress.
Great hat. Everything about her outfit is spot on. She looks effortlessly chic; everything is just right. Not too much and not too little. She is a very attractive, very together princess.
She looks great – I would think placement on this hat might be all important – it could look like a bad turban worn differently.
