Can anyone throw any light upon the tiara that Princess Margaret wore at Princess Astrid’s wedding please?
It looks to me like the Grand Duchess Marie Feodorovna of Russia’s Diamond and Sapphire Bandeau, which was diamonds with a central sapphire, to me in the video Richard. Here is a link.

I enjoyed reading the material in all the links HatQueen. Princess Athena is such a cute tot. Happy Birthday to the little Princess. I was saddened by the death of Princess Astrid’s husband. My condolences to the family. I had never seen photos from this wedding so thanks for the link HatQueen to the article at the Royal Order of Sartorial Splendor blog, which I usually also follow. They made a gorgeous couple. May Johan Martin Ferner Rest In Peace.
My family and I agree with your comments TiarasRUs, and we hope that Princess Astrid can find comfort at such a sad time.
This Week’s Extras made interesting reading. I was disappointed that Princess Charlene didn’t wear a hat at the celebration of Fête de Sainte-Dévote. Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway looked very dignified and appropriately dressed when she attended a Holocaust memorial in Oslo. King Carl Gustaf’s hat looks like it has seen better days. I enjoyed immensely the look back at Princess Astrid of Norway’s wedding to Johan Martin Ferner, and how sad that he has died. Princess Astrid made a beautiful bride, but I wish that she had worn the Vasa Tiara instead of that weird headpiece. Her husband made a dapper groom. RIP Mr Ferner. Princess Athena of Denmark is one cute kid!
