  1. I enjoyed This Week’s Extras, especially the photos of Princess Charlotte’s Christening, and seeing how well and happy Queen Elizabeth looked in her nod to the baby in that pink suit and hat. The Duchess of Cambridge’s hat was the winning hat out of a great collection of hats. I thought her coat was very smart too. I loved the antique pram. Little Prince George looked adorable, especially in his retro-look smocked shirt. Queen Letizia looked better than ever in her smashing clothes and floral tiara, however, she gave us no hats! I agree with what Liz says: July 11, 2015 at 6:20 , I too love the Duchess of Kent; a woman of grace and compassion, and it is always a nice surprise to see her. The photos of Monaco’s twins with their parents were adorable.

  2. Thank you HatQueen for your most excellent blog. It has brightened up a dreary Monday no end.

As an aside, is James Middleton channeling King George V with that beard???

  3. What would we do without our HatQueen? I can’t thank you enough for the pleasure I get from your blog, the comprehensive coverage of royal events, and the education about hats from you and guest milliners! I swooned over the hats, clothes, jewels and accessories worn at Princess Charlotte’s christening. The Mario Testino photographs captured the light-hearted mood.

It was such a pleasant surprise to discover these photographs of Monaco’s Prince Albert and Princess Charlene with their twin babies. I can see some resemblance to the late Princess Grace in them both. It is a terrible shame that she died as a result of that horrific car crash, and the same for the late Diana, Princess of Wales. Rest in Peace beautiful Princesses and I hope that from where you are now you can see your grandchildren.

  4. Congratulations HatQueen for working so hard lately covering so many Royal hat events and doing a stellar job! Princess Michael of Kent wore a stylish straw hat, much smaller than her usual dramatic looks. I enjoyed all the photos and the live footage of Princess Charlotte’s christening, and there were some great hats and outfits worn at it, especially the hats and outfits worn by the Duchesses of Cambridge and Cornwall.

It is delightful to see the Duchess of Kent out and about. I couldn’t see a photo in the link you provided HatQueen, but I found these links with photos. She is looking very well.

I was delighted that the Dutch Royals shared photos of their family having fun at the beach. Those daughters are blossoming into beauties. Queen Letizia looked the best and most glamorous I have seen her look in that stunning ballgown and tiara. I would like to closet raid her white Hugo Boss suit. Now if only we could talk her into wearing more hats. Prince Albert and Princess Charlene looked so proud and delighted about their twins. They are such beautiful and alert babies.

  5. Oh, goodness, the King and Queen Maxima and their daughters on the beach, those pictures are so, so cute!! I love them!!! Thank you, Hat Queen for all that you do for us!!

  6. How I love the Duchess of Kent; a woman of grace and compassion. Thank you for ferreting out these hard-to-find pictures!
