Danish Queen Presents Military Award

Queen Margrethe was at the Royal Guard barracks today in Goethersgade to attended a parade and present the ‘Queen’s Clock’ service award. She wore her red felt hat with trimmed in bands of black and the same tweed as her suit. It’s an ensemble well suited to a military event and Queen Margrethe certainly stood out in the crowd…. but I’m ready to see her in a few new pieces of millinery.

Danish Royals Attend Memorial For French Attacks

French-born Princess Marie of Denmark attended memorial service at the French Reformed Church in Copenhagen to commemorate French lives lost over the weekend. For the service, which was also attended by Crown Prince Frederik (Crown Princess Mary is in Africa), Danish Prime Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen and many members of Danish government, Princess Marie repeated her simple black Garbo hat with grey band around the crown and felt rosette time at the side.
