I like the Empress of Iran’s simple, classic white hat, and her gray and white well-tailored outfit. She worked so hard to promote the rights of women in her country and throughout the world. She wasn’t just a clothes horse, she was a woman with a heart, and she did a great job in promoting the skills of local women with their beautiful embroidery.
What a different world for women (and for everyone else too, actually) the Middle East has become!
The Empress at least, has aged gracefully and continues to look lovely, frequently appearing at social occasions in Paris and occasionally in the US.

Timeless and classic and oh so elegant. She still is.
Farah Diba! Elegant lady. Timeless classic ensemble.
Her hat could probably work today and the colors are lovely. The bucket and shower cap in the background, sigh, hope they never return
Taupes and grey, so chic
