On Monday, Princess Beatrix opened the photo exhibition “Future Again” at the Hilversum Museum. For this engagement, she repeated a navy straw double bumper hat. The outer layer of upfolded brim is vented at the side and folded into a point that breaks up the round shape of the design. It’s a classic shape for the Dutch Princess, who we haven’t seen out and about in a while.

This bumper hat style seems to be her favorite as she wears this type quite frequently. The navy looks beautiful with Beatrix’ hair color. All in all, she is a woman who knows what she likes and doesn’t deviate from it. Very smart of her because she always looks immaculate.
Her ‘stack of plates’ on her head style hat as I have come to call this design – but for Bea, it works and I quite like the shape on her.
