Magenta percher with black rings, feathers and sequins by Rosie Olivia
Unusual and fascinating brim on this black & white design
from Dutch milliner Myra van de Korput
Navy fedora studded with tiny swarovski crystals by Jane Taylor
Pink straw button percher with white feather poinsettia bloom from Tasmania based Cessiah Alice Millinery
Striking red, fuchsia and purple layered straw halo hat by Australian brand Peacock Millinery
Chic blue boater with brim trimmed in smart navy braid by French milliner Veronica Marucci Chapeaux
Luxe trilby in pinky beige fur felt with crystal studded hatband from Jess Collett

And this picture hat with stacked, textured double brim with flying black straw bows from Australian milliner Louise MacDonald

  1. Of the new designs HatQueen has selected, I think the grey Fabienne Delvigne cloche would be perfect for Queen Mathilde, and the Peacock Millinery halo has Queen Max written all over it! The Veronica Marucci Chapeaux boater is a beautifully executed classic design.

Princess Leonor is a lovely young lady, and Prince Jigme Namgyel is always adorable.

Kudos to young Miss McCash for her aplomb!

  2. You’ve found more lovely new hats this week, HQ.
For anyone interested, here’s a side view of the hat by Peacock Millinery which HQ linked to (which won the Millinery division of the field fashion comp at the recent Geelong Cup) http://www.abc.net.au/news/image/9085740-3×2-940×627.jpg Here in Australia, it’s the start of Melbourne Cup week, so the latest designs by Australia’s top milliners are about to be seen in action — sooo exciting!
~ and the Vanity Fair interview with Grand Duke George was fascinating.
