  1. These photos are bittersweet – we never know what’s around the corner, do we? And Pierre has grown to look like his father. Caroline looks lovely at the baptism, though I do hear what GG is saying about the black. Albert, my goodness the years have changed him, but then again the years have also changed me 🙂 Pierre’s godmother is Laura Casiraghi, Stefano’s sister-in-law.

  2. The indeed there is a real Renaissance look to this ensemble, but my minor quibble is the black colour for a baptism. Wouldn’t this be lovely in a rich jewel colour – ruby red or emerald green?

  3. I really like the “renaissance” look of this hat – the matching coat and the dress are just right, as are the hairstyle and accessories. The rich formality of the black, the fur and the jewellery impress, without overstatement. Here’s a side view showing the cap-like crown: http://www.gettyimages.com.au/detail/news-photo/princess-caroline-of-monaco-and-her-husband-stefano-news-photo/618384108#princess-caroline-of-monaco-and-her-husband-stefano-casiraghi-pose-picture-id618384108
