Millinery designs that popped out to me (some of which I’d love to find under my own tree tomorrow):

Chic and wearable purple winter fedora from California based Jill Courtemanche milliner
Navy felt button base percher with understated textural floral trim from Nerida Fraiman
Orange feather fascinator with vintage silk net veil from Canadian milliner David Dunkley
Statement red cocktail hat with flowers, veil and a laser cut base from New Zealand milliner Claire Hahn
Purple felt trilby with bespoke beaded hatband from Jess Collett
Adore the clean lines on these red wool caps from UK milliner Karen Henriksen
Simply elegant blue straw wide-brimmed hat with white underbrim from Sophie Beal Millinery
Wonderful navy bumper hat with lavish ostrich feather trim from UK based Mind Your Bonce Millinery

And this design from Philip Treacy’s Autumn/Winter 2018 collection with an upswept brim, silk flower and ribbon trim in the most sublimely beautiful shade of purple. Swoon.

After a 64 years, the Duke of Edinburgh was relieved of duties as Captain General to the Royal Marines, passing the job to Prince Harry. If you missed the three official engagement shots of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle released this week, pop over here to see them.

Lovely snap shared by the King of Bhutan of himself, his father and his son at his country’s National Day Celebrations last Sunday.

And finally, a sweet  video holiday greeting from Crown Princess Victoria, Prince Daniel, Princess Estelle and Prince Oscar

    • Indeed. Posts with hot links will simply be deleted from now on. Thanks, Avery for providing the direct source.

And great catch on a hat repeat from more than 15 years ago!

  1. Usual caption warning applies to the DM article, e.g., Beatrice isn’t wearing sandals, Anne’s youngest brother isn’t named Philip, etc. David and Sarah are there too but remain unidentified. Zara and family are in Australia.
