And this design from Philip Treacy’s Autumn/Winter 2018 collection with an upswept brim, silk flower and ribbon trim in the most sublimely beautiful shade of purple. Swoon.

Introduction of little Victoria, daughter born to  Archduchess Gabriella of Austria and Prince Henri of Bourbon-Parma on October 30. The young couple were recently engaged and a wedding is expected to occur after they complete their university studies (Luxarazzi)

After a 64 years, the Duke of Edinburgh was relieved of duties as Captain General to the Royal Marines, passing the job to Prince Harry. If you missed the three official engagement shots of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle released this week, pop over here to see them.

Top New Royal Hat: October & November 2017

As you continue to vote on your favourite repeated hat worn this fall, it’s time to look back at the most successful new designs we saw during the same period. Over the months of October and November,  there were eight new royal hats and headpieces which, based on your comments, were introduced with great success. We’re now going to face off these eight designs to choose a favourite.

Top Repeated Royal Hat: October & November 2017

 

October and November saw a number of repeated royal hats which, based on readers’ comments, were met with particular approval and admiration. As we wind down this year of royal hats, we’re now going to choose a winner from these eleven special designs to put forward in our contest for favourite repeated royal hat of the year.
