This photograph taken in 1909 shows King George V (right) when Prince of Wales and his cousin, Emperor Nicholas II (left), at what would be the last visit of the imperial Russian family to Britain. It shows the great familiarity between the two cousins, who also shared a remarkable resemblance. You can see this photograph and other objects at our 'Russia' exhibition at The Queen's Gallery, Edinburgh, until 3 November. #russia #russiaexhibition #edinburgh #exhibition #edwardian #monarchy #royalty #gallery
