  1. Shanon, I agree that there is lots to like in this post. Love your recommendations as to which royals would suit the new creations.
Amy Fowler’s red and gold headpiece is quite the Ascot showstopper, and destined I feel to be worn by a woman in a black or red dress, tall with black hair – but as I can’t think of a royal who quite fits that bill, I’m nominating brown-eyed Princess Tessy of Luxembourg as the royal most able to carry the drama. Here she is in 2013, looking very striking in a headpiece with height:

    • GREAT choice of Tessy for the Amy Fowler hat. Hopefully she does make an Ascot appearance soon! I think Princess Haya could wear the hat as well. She has such great hat flair.

  2. I love the pale pink saucer with ombre colored crin ruffle! I would love to see it on the Duchess of Cambridge!

George is such a cutie! I can’t believe it’s been six years!

  3. Princess Alexandra was in Telford, Shropshire on July 19:

This hat seems to be a current favorite, she just wore it last week.

  4. I’m really digging Princess Nobuko’s jaunty white hat with red band!
Really sweet photos of Queen Margareth with her grandchildren.
That little boy singing to Camilla is so freakin’ cute!
Aww…Happy Birthday Prince George ya little charmer!

    – I really really like the hatband details on the fedoras by Amanda Denton.
    – I am so in love with the navy and cream checkerboard straw saucer by Australian milliner Jill Humphries. I would love to see this on the Countess of Wessex.
    – The Dillon Wallwork 2 color percher is lovely. Maybe Princess Marie?
    – Wow! I really love the red 3D printed hat by Australian milliner Carole Maher. I would like to see the Duchess of Sussex rock this.
    – Zara Tindall would look amazing in the pale greige feather flower percher by Scottish milliner Maggie Mowbray.
    – A stunning work of art in the gold and red feather flame headpiece by Californian milliner Amy Fowler. Absolutely incredible detail!
    – the black and gold feathered saucer by Irish milliner Aoife Harrison is really striking. I could see Princess Beatrice or the Countess of Wessex in it.
