We started this post with a story- why not close with one as well? Here is a lovely excerpt of the Duchess of Cornwall reading from Roald Dahl’s  James and the Giant Peach.

  1. I’m so impressed with the stunning designs still coming out from our beloved milliners. They are such a happy distraction right now.

My kids and I have been watching Taika Waititi’s “James and the Giant Peach” and they love to pick out the famous faces from the Avengers movies. I jumped when the Duchess of Cornwall appeared. It was so fun and she did a great job!

     – I love the winter white felt cloche with freestyle side pleat by Christine Waring. The shape reminds me of a blue one worn by Princess Martha Louise in the recent post about hats with bling. This one is so lovely. It would look great on any of the Norwegian Princesses.
     – CP Mary would look terrific in the navy straw pleated brim design by John Boyd Milliner
     – I love the pretty purple faded sinamay wide brimmed hat with sweeping, wonderfully smooth lines by Myra van de Korput. Perfect for Queen Maxima or Queen Anne-Marie of Greece.

I just wanted to add this lovely green hat by Millinery Jill. It would look great on Lady Kitty Spencer:

Love these images of @theestellereport in my jockey cap of bows – her range created in isolation are stunning Repost from @mickyinthevan – Ten weeks in isolation and your senses become more acute and heightened. As @meaganharding and I walked through the streets of Fitzroy to do this shoot we viewed our surroundings with amorous eyes, enchanted and mesmerised as though we were seeing it all for the very first time. The colours… oh the colours I will never forget and I think it’s all conveyed in each one of the images Meagan photographed. Wearing Accident In Paradise Dress in olive – now available to pre-order.
