  1. Dear HQ,
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year (or, Feliz Navidad y Año Nuevo as we say in Madrid). Can I second all the earlier comments in saying what a refuge your blog has been this year and also thank you for your ingenuity in keeping the entertaining and excellently sourced content going despite many fewer events.

I’m writing this with a glass of champagne beside me which I’ll raise as a toast to a better 2021 for all of us.

  2. Happy Christmas and Happy Holidays to HatQueen and all my fellow commenters and readers, whether you are vocal or quiet. I appreciate you all and the community we have built here! Looking forward to all the hats in 2021 (whether they are many or few) and your commentary for them, and I will continue to wear my own as often as possible.

  3. Merry Christmas, Hat Queen. Thank you for providing me with entertainment, education, and a place of care and civility. It has been a consistent pleasure to turn here, especially in this strange year.

Thank you as well to this community. Your humour, opinions, and thoughtfulness are also a joy.

Wishing all a safe, healthy and happy 2021.

  4. Thank you, HatQueen and all your wonderful correspondents who have brought such pleasure and humour to this long and sometimes difficult year. Logging onto is a constant source of delight. Sending very best wishes from Melbourne, Australia where our Xmas Day, yesterday, was cooler than expected and today is filled with brilliant sunshine. That’s Melbourne weather for you! Looking forward to all the marvellous hats you’ll all find in 2021. Stay safe everyone!

  5. Merry Christmas from Ottawa, Canada, where we are having an unusual green Christmas. Thank you, HatQueen for providing a bright spot in a quiet year. Much appreciated.

  6. Thank you, HatQueen, for providing us with this ongoing stream of beauty, glamour, and cheer in an otherwise dark year, and Merry Christmas to all from surprisingly chilly Central Florida, USA!

Wishing you all the best today and wishing you a happy and healthy 2021!

  8. Many thanks for lightening every day of this pandemic with your interesting and entertaining blog. I’m sure this is a hard holiday for you without your mom, but remember the pleasure the blog gave her as well.

  9. Thank you for all the pleasure you give to us, this year especially, when royal hats have been few and we have needed something to cheer us up. You are much appreciated!
Merry Christmas from the UK’s East coast, where the temperature is above freezing, but only just. xx

  10. Merry Christmas from Ohio (15F this cold, frosty morning!) Hat Queen, I join all the others in thanking you for your gift to us – endless hours of millinery enjoyment, because of your long hours of research, and posting the most entertaining and beautiful blog on the net! I hope you and your family enjoy a well deserved rest.
