While this year’s Cheltenham Festival is taking place without spectators, Zara Tindall and her stylist, Annie Miall, are collaborating this week on at-home racing looks featuring hats from different British milliners. They kicked things off today with this striking black felt beret-saucer hybrid trimmed with a vine of cream leather flowers and arrow trimmed feathers. The hat’s scale and shape works with the coat’s high collar and the scheme of black and white with petrol blue is not an obvious pairing but still works really well.
Designer: Justine Bradley-Hill. It is the Martha Felt Beret. Coat by Monsoon.
Previously Worn: This hat is new.
What do you think of Zara’s hat today for the first day of Chetenham-at-home?

Love Francesca’s hat and outfit. Zara’s hat is wonderful and I can’t wait to see both ladies tomorrow. Is it just a coincidence that both hats are from Justine Bradley-Hill ‘s atelier? She did a nice job on both.
A very attractive hat. I like the way the texture of the beret compliments the texture of the coat while the flowers and feathers offer contrast.
I love Zaras beret!
I love this! The flowers on top are gorgeous and she wears berets so well. The coat is gorgeous on her! I look forward to the rest of her hats this week!
The blue of the coat enhances Zara’s eyes, while in the close-ups, her eye make-up blends with the hat! I love the embellished beret/saucer – it really suits her.
Not a new color scheme for Zara, but she always wears it so well! This hat has some great detailing and looks amazing on her. Brava! Looking forward to the rest of the week’s selections, and glad it looks like she’ll be wearing a different milliner every day.
Francesca Cumani’s ensemble is a stunner! The white roses on the crimson velour felt saucer is just beautiful, and pairing it with this coat is a bit unexpected, but very successful IMO.
Here’s another view of it
Not royal but worth sharing- ITV racing commenter Francesca Cumani in a red felt Justine Bradley-Hill saucer with similar cream leather flowers and a Sarah Badeni coat.
