Princess Aiko has come of age! I love that the tiara work for her presentation was borrowed from her aunt, Sayako Kuroda

  1. I just adore the bright yellow velvet cloche by Michaela Temperli with the slight touch of pink! Brilliant!

I agree with all that Princess Aiko looks lovely in her tiara! It is too pretty of a tiara to go to not be seen again!

  2. Gorgeous hats on Nobuko and Hisako! They always bring out some of the best headwear for the Japanese Imperial Family (a.k.a. they understand the assignment haha).

And I’m not one to usually comment on tiaras, but Princess Aiko looks absolutely lovely and the details are quite stunning on this delicate piece; it’s also great to see her borrow one from her Aunt Sayako. No rush of course, but I am curious as to what her first official hat will be!

Thanks HatQueen for continuing to highlight the Japanese Imperial hats! It’s always a delight to see what they wear, although sad there often aren’t great photos to show them off.
