Lots of hats on the Imperial Empress and Princesses. The circle trim on Princess Tsuguko’s hat is wonderfully unique!
Great photo of Queen Margrethe in her repeated pale pink straw hat on August 6th. On Sunday, she repeated her blue beret with feather trim for the millennium anniversary of Roskilde Stift.
The following new millinery designs caught my eye this week (see the comments for more):
Handsome new portrait released from the Belgian royal house of Prince Gabriel for his 19th birthday.
Congratulations to Prince Hussein of Jordan and Rajwa Al Saif on their engagement

Such beautiful hats today! Congratulations to the Crown Prince of Jordan and his fiance! Happy Birthday Gabriel!
In recent months, I have come to appreciate and admire the Japanese Imperial millinery and clothing on a much higher level. The ensembles are classic, and impeccably styled. While many times the colors are subdued and bland, the tasteful elegance shines through.
Hat Queen, another great round-up of designs that “caught your eye” this week!
Josemieke Crebolder: What a fun summery ensemble of yellow, orange and white. The wearer looks fantastic.
Katie Vale: The feathery duck egg blue hat is a real eye catcher for sure.
Wies: Using vintage materials on a new creation is genius! Navy, white, and red is so patriotic also. Beautiful hat!
Marc Millinery: I was caught up with the model’s eyes and overall beauty more than the hat, which is quite spectacular also.
Jenny Roberts: Awesome hat, which I think would look even nicer with a plainer dress. To me, it’s too much of a good thing.
