The king and queen again led the royal carriage procession on the third day of Royal Ascot, Ladies’ Day.
King Charles repeated his black antique silk top hat.

Queen Camilla wore a new hat in pale seafoam green sinamay. The rounded crown is offset with a sharply sidesweeping brim which is entirely rimmed in overlapping, sharply trimmed feathers. A hatband (organdie, I think) wraps around the design multiple times.

This hat is all about the feathers, which give such wonderful texture and movement to the design. It was incredible in person.

I adore this hat! The feathers feel like they are constantly blowing in the wind, yet they are completely stationary, and that demonstrates some true art by Treacy. My only complaint is I wish the color was more saturated, but that is minor in comparison to how wonderful this is otherwise.
I love this hat – she actually wore hats like this a bit more when first on the royal scene and it’s great to see them back. Camilla wears enormous hats I like anyone else, well perhaps Máxima, and they are fabulous, and just right for Ascot. Hope we see this one a lot more – and others like it!
This hat really is a show stopper. The soft shade of mint green was an inspired choice for the Queen Consort on Ladies Day. All the elements come together beautifully as shown in the side view photos. Gorgeous!
That’s a great way to deploy feathers without overwhelming the whole hat. Love it!
Much as I love Camilla in ivory and cream, this might be one of my favourite ever looks on her. The extravagant trim round the brim on the hat echoes the small trim on her dress. I also loved the swirled hatband. I was torn between this ensemble and the black and white hat outfit – both gorgeous.
Queen Camilla looked fresh and cool wearing this color scheme. Her hat was a triumph of design and feathers.
Love it! Q Camilla does carry off a big hat with a bit of drama with ease. The King looks handsome too.
