Thomas repeated a black top hat. Lady Gabriella wore a beautiful blue sinamay saucer hat with extended brim that raised around the back of the design. It is trimmed with wired bows seen on other Philip Treacy designs this season.

The colour, with the most subtle lilac undertone, is absolutely beautiful on Gabriella. The shape, raised at the back, gives the loveliest lift and lightness to the design. It’s beautiful.

  1. Today’s post represents perhaps one of Ascot week’s most beautiful ensembles (Gabriella) and, since pillboxes have never been a favorite design of mine, a least attractive hat. (Sophie) The 1st picture of Gabriella shows an incredible Kent likeness to Aunt Alexandra. Both men look outstanding.

  2. Lady Gabriella looked amazing in her ensemble. The hat is stunning. Her dress and the brooch were elegant and her hat is now one of my favorites. She is an elegant woman.

  3. Lady Gabriella looked gorgeous in this blue saucer hat. One of my top 5 Royal hats for the week.
Her chic dress, bag and jewellery added to an elegant look that let the hat shine.

Lady Frederick looked lovely in yellow. The simple cream pillbox hat deserved a more elegant hairdo.

    Both gents looked very smart.

  4. Lady Gabriella looks beautiful, as usual.
Anyone know the name of the lady in Aqua beside Lady G. in the Carriage?

Think Sophie let the side down! Sorry Soph!
