102 years to the Prince of Wales’ tour of Japan and India. In this snap, he is pictured pulling Admiral Halsey in a rickshaw (unsuccessfully, it seems by that bent wheel!) in a checked newsboy cap.

I love these Flat caps. This hat style seems to have multiple names and was/is popular in many countries and cultures- bunnet, Dai cap, scally cap, English cap, cabbie cap, ivy cap
Can’t see Elizabeth or Charles doing anything remotely similar!
I quite enjoy seeing Royals doing un-royal things, (always impeccably dressed) such as planting trees (many Royals), pressure-washing (Queen Beatrix 2017), roller coaster riding (Queen Margrethe 2022), enjoying a water ride at Tivoli Gardens (Queen Elizabeth and King Henrik 1979), Riding a bicycle (Queen Juliana many times) or tossing back an adult beverage (Queen Mother many times).
