Top Royal Hats: May 2018

After an incredibly busy month of royal hat watching (with a few more busy days ahead!), I’m stealing a moment to catch up on some poll results. Here are your choices for favourite new and repeated hats worn during the month of May:

Favourite New Royal Hat: May 2018

Any month that includes a major royal wedding, garden parties and state visits in addition to regular engagements is going to bring us a stream of new hats and that is exactly what we saw in May!  Ten designs – perchers, mushroom brimmed pictures, saucers, an upsweep, a pillbox and a pinwheel – stood out as particularly memorable, based on your comments, and it’s now time to choose a favourite from this group.

Favourite Repeated Royal Hat: May 2018

Thanks to garden parties, state visits, a major wedding, and numerous other royal engagements, the month of May brought us numerous occasions with hats. It’s now time for a quick review of the designs we admired most. Eight brimmed stood out in particular, based on your comments, and it is now time to choose a favourite.

Favourite Repeated Royal Hat: April 2018

With the month of April having just wrapped up, we turn our attention to the repeated hats we saw worn this month that we admired most. Seven designs in bright hues- upsweeps, an hourglass, a calot and a beret – all stood out and it now time to compare these six beauties with greater scrutiny and determine a winner.
