Back on January 13, I featured a photo of Queen Elizabeth attending church at during her stay at Sandringham. I totally missed the presence of another hat wearing member of the British Royal Family that morning- Lady Helen Taylor. She’s the daughter of the Queen’s first cousin, Edward, the Duke of Kent. She’s also fantastically stylish, having spent 17 years working for Armani. On January 13, she wore a pretty standard fur hat in winter white. I did not think it went well with her informal shearling coat (a little too much sheep on top, too much shepherdess on the bottom!). I’ll be honest- I’m not a big fan of these fur puffballs in general. If fur floats your fancy, I suppose this one is as good as any.

I agree- something doesn’t match very well here. That hat would be better with a winter-white wool coat.
Great suggestion. That hat would be GORGEOUS with a winter white coat.
I would disagree with you, HatQueen. I think the fur hat / coat combination go very well together and are fantastic! The shoes, however…
