Queen Margrethe and Princess Marie of Denmark marked the 75th anniversary of DEMA (Danish Emergency Management Agency) by attending a reception at the agency’s headquarters in Birkeroe. While Marie was in uniform, Queen Margrethe wore the charcoal grey trilby (complete with koosh ball trim) she last wore for the opening of Parliament in 2008. It’s a good hat shape for her, don’t you think?

I don’t usually like fedoras very much but this one looks great on Queen Margrethe. I don’t even mind the pompom!
