Princess Beatrix attended the 150th anniversary celebrations of the and Antiquarian Society in Maastricht on Friday where she was presented with the newly published, Limburg: Een Geschiedenis (Limburg: A History). For this event, Beatrix wore a caramel straw hat in her signature “one-tiered hat cake” shape with a stacked crown and straw loops on the side. I’m thinking that she truly does own this hat in every single colour of the rainbow…

I love to see these hats – and Beatrix is the only one who (can) wear(s) them! Its nice to see she hasn’t given up her style.
Own it she does, but it is not in anyway a flattering shape. Nice to see Princess Bea about.
I agree….but they do look becoming on her. I like them. It really has become a signature look for her.
