King Harald and Queen Sonja of Norway attended the opening of parliament in Oslo yesterday. Sonja wore a brimless black felt wool hat with a black net veil and jeweled button. I believe this is a new hat for Sonja and I think it’s quite smart on her. What do you think?

I don’t like the button with this outfit. The white dot seems lost. It would be better in gold, matching the coat’s buttons and even the dress’ trim.
She looks very elegant. The button and veil add a touch of class.
I also like this one on her…I might have pulled the net up just a tish – hard to say as it might just be the camera angle…pulling it up a tish would make it look less 50’s and more 2013 for me.
