These two royal costume/Halloween hats were too wonderful not to share today on this day of spooks, tricks and all things ghoulish.

Thanks, Jelsta!
Thank you Jelsta, that was a really nice article on Princess Eugiene in New York, she look so happy to be out doing her own thing instead of being tied down in the Firm. The pictures were great and I loved her coat and hat,
Love Queen Margrethe’s expression! Her headpiece is also very fun.
Queen Margrethe has made a fantastic characterization of a fortune-tellers hat! Complete with the daisy earrings.
But sorry, Hatqueen, the other one is just a mask. As soon as it slips over the eyes and face it’s hard to see it as a hat. Although I have to make an exception for the Queens’ guard bearskin hats. 🙂
You just have to love Queen Margrethe! She seems like such a nice lady with a great sense of humor. Love her costume. 🙂
she is one of a kind and young at heart
I wouldn’t be surprised if Daisy wore that one around the house when the grandkids come to visit 😀
I can almost picture her vacuuming in it, if she were not queen!
Ah, these Danes! Crazy. I love them all.
LOLOLOLO, I love the look on QM’s face, that is *priceless*. I think she looks great and it shows her sense of humor and fun. She is quite the Queen and Lady!
Margrethe always seems such fun and that pic of Alexandra, so glam
Queen Margrethe’s one is so funny (her royal face too ;))
