Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie continued the chic streak of millinery we have seen from them in 2013 with two more hats worn for church on Christmas Day yesterday. Princess Beatrice wore a new black wool flat percher-style hat trimmed with a large cornflower blue dahliah. This was one of my favourite hats today and I loved that the whimsical detail looked both elegantly polished and fun. I’m afraid I was much less a fan of Beatrice’s coat.

Princess Eugenie repeated her trusty black hard shell beret (the same hat she wore for Christmas last year) but trimmed it this year with a cheeky Christmas tree brooch.
The Countess of Wessex looked very chic in a new black cocktail hat, described by the designer as a “Metallic cocktail hat with felt knot design”. Paired with her fur scarf and winter white wool coat, the look was luxuriously glamorous and I thought Sophie looked fantastic.
